Mr. Siebers provided an overview for HB2004.  The bill would provide Seward County the authority to submit a proposition to the electors to impose a countywide retailers' sales tax in an amount up to 0.5 percent for the purpose of financing roadway and bridge construction, maintenance and improvement. (Attachment 20)

Representative Francis moved, seconded by Representative Howerton, the Committee recommend HB2004 favorable for passage and placed on the consent calendar.  Motion passed.
