Representative Will Carpenter, 75th District, provided testimony in support of HB2284 (Attachment 2). Having been involved in the procurement process for the latest MCO contracts, I and many of the the KanCare Oversight Committee see the need for oversight of the process of selecting Manage Care Organizations (MCO). These contracts are in total around $4 billion.
