Chairperson opened discussion for HB2083. The Revisor provided an overview of the bill.

Representative Hoheisel  presented an amendment for HB2083  to change the date of enactment from 2026 to 2025 to  prevent projects that are eligible in 2025 that are completed and uncapped. The amendment brings more parity to the bill.  It would start enact in 2025 and not 2026. 

Representative Hoheisel moved to amend HB2083, seconded by Representative Xu. (Attachment 7) Motion passed.

Representative Turner moved, seconded by Representative C.Smith to table HB2083.  Motion failed.

Representative Hoheisel moved, seconded by Representative Xu, the Committee pass out favorably HB2083 as amended.  Motion passed.
