Chairman Kessler opened a hearing on SB9.

Kyle Hamilton, Office of Revisor of Statutes, gave a briefing (Attachment 1)of the amendment from 30 days to 90 days for report filing.

William Haverkamp (Attachment 2), Kansas Society of Land Surveyors gave testimony in support. He testified that with larger projects, it is almost impossible to complete work within 30 days. The extension to 90 days is needed.

Scott Heidner (Attachment 3) and Larry Karnes (Attachment 4) gave supporting written only testimony.
