Chair Humphries opened the hearing on SB241.

Jason Thompson, Office of Revisor of Statutes, gave the bill brief.   (Attachment 5)

Proponent Eric Stafford, Kansas Chamber of Commerce, testified that SB241 will be viewed favorably by businesses because it protects work force stability and client relationships. It will also protect Kansas employees and owners from overly broad restrictive covenants.  (Attachment 6)

Mr. Stafford stood for questions.
