Chairwoman Warren opened the hearing on HB2312.

Natalie Scott, Revisor's Office, provided an overview of the bill and stood for questions. (Attachment 11) 

Scott Schultz, Executive Director, Kansas Sentencing Commission provided testimony in support of the bill.  He stated the amended bill language merely allows community corrections to complete the assessments if they are certified to do so.  (Attachment 12)
