Chairman Petersen opened the Hearing on SB367.

Adam Siebers, Staff Revisor, gave a summary of SB367.  (Attachment 4) He answered questions from committee members.

Proponent, verbal testimony was given by J.V. Johnston. (Attachment 5) Numerous questions were asked by committee members ranging from distance from the golf course, width of sidewalks, right of way on sidewalks between golf carts and pedestrians and whether signage would be erected to indicate allowance of golf carts on sidewalks. Amendments to this will be offered when final action is conducted on this bill.

Proponent, written only testimony was submitted by Anne Marie Yatsula, (Attachment 6) The League of Kansas Municipalities.
