Chairwoman Estes moved, seconded by Representative Hubert to amend HB2530 and rename bill to House Substitute for HB2530 concerning education; relating to career readiness assessments; providing for the transferability of credentials earned through such assessments toward a degree; amending K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 72-5179 and repealing the existing section. Motion carried.

Representative Steele moved, seconded by Representative Pishney to pass House Substitute HB2530 as amended. Motion carried.
