Representative Dr. Megan Steele provided proponent testimony to the committee that this bill would align statutes with practical circumstances of transportation respecting the dignity of individuals with disabilities. (Attachment 5)

Kirk Lowell provided proponent testimony to the committee stating that accessible parking for a person with a disability is not a matter of convenience, but it is a fundamental requirement and that by having this bill the state is upholding the principles  given in the Americans with Disabilities Act.    (Attachment 6)
