Chairperson Gossage opened the hearing on HB2536. Dahnika Short, Assistant Revisor, briefed the committee on the bill. (Attachment18) Ms. Short stood for questions from the committee.

Chairperson Gossage introduced Jamie Gideon who testified in support of the bill. (Attachment19) The bill will assist court appointed guardians to better serve individuals with cognitive impairment or dementia. She urged the committee to support the bill.

Chairperson Gossage introduced Nina Westvold (Attachment20) who testified in support of the bill. She stated a short, to-the-point training program could assist guardians to better assist dementia patients. She requested the committee support the bill.

The conferees stood for questions from the committee.
