Chair Kessler opened the final action on SB372. 

Revisor Heim provided a briefing on the bill.  Enacting the app store accountability act to regulate app store and developer operations with respect to minors, create requirements for age verification and parental consent and provide for enforcement under the Kansas consumer protection act and through a private cause of action.

Representative Humphries moved, seconded by Representative Williams to recommend SB372 favorably. Motion carried.

An amendment was presented by Representative Humphries. Representative Humphries provided an explanation of the (Attachment9)amendment.

Representative Humphries moved, seconded by Representative Williams to pass the amendment. Motion carried.
