Chair Kessler opened the final action on SB372. 

Mike Heim, Office of Revisor of Statutes, provided a brief on the bill.  Enacting the app store accountability act to regulate app store and developer operations with respect to minors, create requirements for age verification and parental consent and provide for enforcement under the Kansas Consumer Protection Act and through a private cause of action. 

Representative Lewis moved, seconded by Representative Humphries to bring SB372 off the table. Motion carried. 

Representative Willcott brought an (Attachment 8) amendment. Representative Willcott explained his amendment.

Representative Willcott moved, seconded by Representative Williams to amend SB372. Motion carried.

Representative Humphries moved, Representative Ward seconded to pass SB372 favorably as amended. Motion carried.
