SB95 - Providing that the legislature may approve the creation of port authorities by enactment of a bill and authorizing the governing body of the unified government of Wyandotte county and Kansas City, Kansas, to create a port authority.
SB153 - Establishing the Kansas paid prenatal personal leave act requiring employers to provide 20 hours of paid prenatal personal leave.
SB189 - Providing injured employees the freedom of choice to designate their healthcare provider and requiring the employer to pay for the services of such healthcare provider with regard to workers compensation.
SB216 - Establishing the Kansas paid sick time act, setting accrual, usage and employer obligations regarding earned paid sick time and making it unlawful for employers to retaliate against employees exercising rights under the act.

SB52 - Enacting the Kansas film and digital media industry production development act, providing a tax credit and sales tax exemption to incentivize film, video and digital media production in Kansas, establishing a program to be administered by the secretary of commerce for the purpose of developing such production in Kansas and requiring the secretary of commerce to issue reports to the legislature regarding the program.

SB166 - Enacting the fostering competitive career opportunities act to remove postsecondary degree requirements from state employment considerations.
SB197 - Senate Substitute for SB 197 by Committee on Commerce - Concerning STAR bond projects, authorizing redevelopment of certain mall facilities as eligible STAR bond projects, requiring quarterly visitor data reporting, requiring public disclosure of project details within 90 days of approval of the project, prohibiting the use of state general fund moneys for the repayment of STAR bonds, prohibiting the use of eminent domain for property acquisition and extending the expiration date of the STAR bonds financing act to July 1, 2028.
SB199 - Designating the existing fallen firefighters memorial within the Kansas firefighters museum in Wichita as the official fallen firefighters memorial of the state of Kansas and replacing the Kansas firefighters memorial advisory committee with the Kansas firefighter memorial council; defining the fireworks sales season for seasonal retailers of consumer fireworks, providing for year-round sales by permanent retailers of consumer fireworks, requiring permanent retailers to register with the state fire marshal.
SB227 - Providing for different credit percentages for the tax credit for expenditures for the restoration and preservation of historic structures based on city populations and the amount of the expenditures.
SB229 - Providing for occupational licensing annual reports to the joint committee on administrative rules and regulations and requiring that adoption of new occupational licenses and material changes to existing occupational licenses by a state agency be approved by joint resolution of the legislature.
