Jenna Moyer, Office of Revisor of Statutes, provided an overview of the legislation. (Attachment 1)

Ed Klumpp, Legislative Liaison, testified in support of the legislation. He stated the bill was requested to make Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, available to more law enforcement agencies. A medical director is no longer needed to issue the drug to law enforcement agencies because it is now available as an over the counter drug. The conferee stated he was working with the Revisor for an amendment to assure clarity.  (Attachment 2)
