Staff provided an overview of the bill and the work done in the last meeting going with bullet point, as separate amendments. Senator Blew withdrew Bullet #7 of the amendments.

Staff provided Senator Blew's amendment. (Attachment 1)

Senator Blew moved bullet point #1. Senator Titus seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Bullet #2

Senator Blew moved the amendment. Senator Klemp seconded the motion. Committee discussion, Senator Ware moved  a substitute motion to change 30 days to 90 days on page 7,allow the Revisor leeway for technical fixes. Senator Klemp seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Senator Tyson moved that the documentation be on going updates. Senator Klemp seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Senator Corson moved removing "forgone" on page7 and 8. Senator Owens seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Bullet #4

Senator Blew moved the amendment to language from page 2 to page 9 on visitor information requested by the Secretary. Senator Klemp seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Bullet #5

Senator Blew moved the amendment on visitor zip codes from 30 days to 90 days.Senator Tyson seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Bullet #6

Senator Blew moved the amendment on Bullet #6. Senator Tyson seconded the motion. Senator Corson moved a substitute motion to strike State General Funds on page 10. Senator Owens seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Staff provided Senator Tyson's amendment that would require the STAR Bond projects would require a majority vote of the finance council, for a total of three times. (Attachment 2)

Senator Tyson moved the amendment. Senator Blew seconded the motion. The motion failed.

The Chair stated that there is another amendment. The Committee will meet tomorrow at noon to continue working the bill.

The next Committee meeting is February 18. The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 pm.
