Jenna Moyer, Office of Revisor of Statutes, gave a briefing on the legislation. (Attachment 2)

William Wilk, Kansas Chamber, testified in support of the legislation. He stated the legislation will help military spouses who hold licenses in cosmetology from other states to be able to practice in the state of Kansas. (Attachment 3)

Lt. Col. Keith Marshall, Kansas Adjutant General's Office spoke in favor of the bill. The bill will offer the ability for military spouses to maintain professional licensure and help with their family financial stability. (Attachment 4)

Michelle Richart, Department of Defense, Washington D.C., spoke in favor of the bill. The legislation addresses licensing issues affecting military spouses when moving from another state into Kansas. (Attachment 5)

Leslie Roste, Future of the Beauty Industry Coalition, testified in favor of the bill. She stated the legislation will allow for the mobility of licensed cosmetologists who are also military spouses, when they move into the state. (Attachment 6)
