Chairperson Gossage introduced Patrick L. Allen, MD, FAAFP, who spoke in support of this bill. Dr. Allen stated physicians need this tool to both treat and protect patients. (Attachment2)
Chairperson Gossage introduced Dr. Tara Chettiar, who spoke in favor of this bill. (Attachment3) Dr. Chettiar urged the committee to pass the bill favorably.
Chairperson Gossage introduced Dr. Dereck Totten who spoke in favor of the bill urging the committee to support the bill to ensure that Kansans have access to the best possible health care. (Attachment4)
Chairperson Gossage introduced Randy Bowman who spoke in favor of the bill and urged the committee to advance the bill and advocate for its passage during the 2026 legislative session. (Attachment5)
