Kansas Dome
The state legislature approved the dome in 1881 and construction began in 1885. The outer copper dome extends approximately 75 feet above the inner dome. There are 296 steps to the top of the dome.

some provide... Our purpose today is twofold.... For every 1 dollar they have spent of services, they have
received $5 of health care value....
Today over 70 Kansas municipalities are KMEA members.... ability to
invest in transmission not only serves to ensure our mission of providing the most
reliable service... transmission companies so to develop and construct projects that are
intended to provide more reliable service... because they would be automatically selected to build and own transmission projects
within their service...
