16a-1-109. (UCCC) Transactions subject to act by agreement. The parties to a sale, lease or loan or modification thereof that is not a consumer credit transaction may agree in a writing signed by the parties that the transaction is subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 16a-1-101 et seq., and amendments thereto. If the parties so agree, the transaction is a consumer credit transaction for the purposes of K.S.A. 16a-1-101 et seq., and amendments thereto. |
