16a-3-210. Electronic writings or signatures authorized. (1) Any writing or signature required by this act may be provided or executed using an electronic format pursuant to K.S.A. 16-1601 et seq., and amendments thereto. (2) If a consumer agrees in writing to the use of an electronic format instead of United States mail to send a document, any requirement under this act to use United States mail to send a document may be satisfied by sending the document by such electronic format. When a document is sent using an electronic format, the time of sending and receipt is defined pursuant to K.S.A. 16-1615, and amendments thereto. (3) This section shall be a part of and supplemental to the uniform consumer credit code. |
