Chairperson Dietrich brought SB360 forward for review and action. A summary of very recent federal legislation signed into law by President Trump regarding PBMs was distributed from her to the Committee members. She noted that the bill aligns with federal law, but the state bill proposes a faster implementation timeline.

An amendment was offered by the Kansas Department of Insurance to clarifying language on rebate handling. Revisor Eileen Ma explained the amendment. (Attachment 20) Steve Karrer, General Counsel for the Department of Insurance answered questions about the proposed amendment. 

Senator Argabright moved for the amendment to be adopted. Senator Fagg seconded. Motion carried.
