58-25,106. (a) A rental agreement shall not provide that the tenant or landlord does any of the following: (1) Agrees to waive or to forego rights or remedies under this act; (2) authorizes any person to confess judgment on a claim arising out of the rental agreement; (3) agrees to pay the other party's attorney fees; (4) agrees to the exculpation or limitation of any liability of the other party arising under law or to indemnify the other party for that liability or the costs connected therewith; or (5) agrees to a designated agent for the sale of tenant's mobile home. (b) A provision prohibited by subsection (a) included in a rental agreement is unenforceable. |
