65-241. State financial assistance to local health departments; definitions. As used in K.S.A. 65-241 to 65-246, inclusive: (a) "Local health department" means any county, city-county or multicounty department of health. (b) "Secretary" means secretary of health and environment. (c) "Fiscal year" means the period commencing January 1 of any year and ending December 31 of the same year. (d) "State financial assistance" means the total amount of money available for distribution to local health departments under this act. |
